Once only for elites, voting in the US is available for all eligible citizens, whether male/female, any race, any religion, etc. This was not always the case, and yet today not all take the time to vote. Indonesian octopuses have been found collecting coconut shells for their houses, even constructing them in their preferred designs. Cephalopods usually do not do this, or so scientists thought. Using foreign objects as shelter is not so unusual, and hermit crabs do so often. However, preparing a foreign object by cleaning it out, carrying it long distances, and reassembling it as shelter is quite unusual. Makes you wonder what the Carolina octopus is doing down there.
